You & your partner have ~10 min to get together and finalize any plans for your presentations. IN ADDITION, you need email me the presentation AND you need to score yourself in all categories except actual "presentation" on your rubric. Using 1 of the rubrics I gave you (bright gold/orange paper) circle JUST the bullets that you think best represent the presentation you both have created. You will hand this to me at the start of your presentation.

Please pick up the handouts "Characteristics of Life" & "Are Viruses Alive" up front. In assigned groups, you will be finding evidence indicated in the paper to answer the question asked in the title. Use the first handout as your guide to determine if viruses meet all of the characteristics. See board for role descriptions in groups.

1. Assigning lab stations & cleaning equipment (30 min max)
2. Read "A Cult of Proteins" and answer the questions.
