1. Chemical reactions often require an input of energy to get them started. Once initiated, they proceed rapidly. Explain using the concept of activation energy AND an energy diagram. Be sure to label your diagram completely.
2. Describe TWO ways in which a chemical reaction can be made to go faster. Explain how each way overcomes and /or diminishes the activation energy.
When finished, turn & share your responses with another person in class. Find out what great vocabulary should be used in a question like this - do your energy diagrams look similar? Are they LABELLED?!?

Please get out your directions & data tables for the lab, and review the basic procedures for Experiment 2. I have a quick request to make once everyone is quiet!

-Experiment 2 & 3 (hopefully?) Please complete 2 trials for temp & pH. If you are waay ahead of the class, you can complete a third, but check in with me if you're not sure what you can fit in.

-have calculations for rate completed and graphs made for all experiments completed thus far. You need these in order to participate in class discussion Thurs/Fri.
