Daily Questions:
In your notebooks, please answer the following questions (yes, use your books!):
1. Chemical reactions often require an input of energy to get them started. Once initiated, they proceed rapidly. Explain using the concept of activation energy AND an energy diagram. Be sure to label your diagram completely.
2. Describe TWO ways in which a chemical reaction can be made to go faster. Explain how each way overcomes and /or diminishes the activation energy.
When finished, turn & share your responses with another person in class. Find out what great vocabulary should be used in a question like this - do your energy diagrams look similar? Are they LABELLED?!?
